Russell I. Alexander Awards 2011 Charitable Giving Fund Grant
 

 
 
Lindsay Minor Hockey Association, Lindsay, ON will receive $5,000.00 to purchase 2 sets of home and away jerseys for rep level hockey playing in the Lakeshore A loop.    
 
LINDSAY, ON    November 28, 2011 –
 
A local business has just boosted the resources for the Lindsay Minor Hockey Association with a $5,000.00 grant.
 
The Russell I. Alexander Charitable Giving Fund provides financial support to those charitable organizations that are doing great work, but may not be as visible as some of their larger counterparts.
 
Glen Harris, Treasurer of Lindsay Minor Hockey Association stated: “We have 263 players registered with 6 rep teams and 13 local league teams. This year we have 6 teams playing at A level.   The Russell Alexander Giving Fund Grant will be used for 2 sets of home and away jerseys.”
 
Mr. Harris further stated “we are very appreciative of the Russell I. Alexander Giving Fund generosity, and without sponsors like Russell Alexander, registration costs would be substantially higher.”
