How to buy an iPhone 4S in Canada
Here’s how Canadians can get thier hands on an Apple iPhone 4S.
Just by way of background, like the iPad 2 and my blog a few months ago, I heard that the iPhone 4S have been selling out in Canada and would not be available for 2-3 weeks. My brother in-law stopped by the other night to show my his new iPhone 4S and, like the second generation iPad, the next generation of the iPhone 4 was also quite impressive.
When I asked my local Apple store about stock I was informed by the customer service lady that they were sold out but that they get stock in everyday but the only way to get one was to reserve online.
She also advised me to go to apple online and enter /yorkdale. Not the exact link but I figured it out and here it is
The key, I was told was to go to this link at 9:00 p.m. and select my preferred store. The available stock and options come online right at 9:00 p.m. you will have about 20 seconds to make your selection and then all the items usually sell out. Try logging in at 8:55 p.m. to be safe.
Once you have reserved your iPhone 4 S, simply schedule or reserve a date and time to pick up your phone at the selected Apple store. When you get to the store show one of the clerks your reservation details, pay and you are out of there in about 10 minutes.
