Wednesday’s Video Clip: Judge Leaves the Bench and Removes Robe to Subdue a Defendant
In a bizarre turn of events, Michigan Circuit Judge McBain reacted to a defendant (Jacob Larson), by jumping out of his seat and ripping off his judicial robes. Justice McBain then went above and beyond his judicial duty and assisted the deputy law clerk in handcuffing the loose-mouthed Larson.
Lesson learned: Don’t talk back!
