Wednesday’s Video Clip: Save A Slice in Markham
At 9AM on July 14, 2020 – Russell Alexander, Carrie Heinzl and Jarret Johnston presented Runaway Train: Using Collaborative Practice Methods to Derail High Conflict Court Cases. The webinar was qualified by the Law Society of Ontario to contain 1 hour and 24 minutes of Professionalism content for Ontario lawyers. Each attendee purchased a ticket to observe and participate in the presentation. The funds collected from Runaway Train were promised to go towards a charitable community event. Tomorrow they will do just that.
You may remember Save A Slice, an initiative created by Russell Alexander during the beginning of a global pandemic to support both local restaurant owners and healthcare workers in our local communities. Save A Slice placed large orders from several family-owned restaurants when their doors were closed and take out/delivery was in low demand. Healthcare workers across the province received the gesture of appreciation during their shifts.
On Thursday July 30, 2020, Save A Slice will support Druxy’s Famous Deli and the Markham-Stouffville Hospital staff. Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers has an office located in Markham, Ontario. We look forward to supporting our community and encourage others in this position to do so as well.
