Cindy is an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers where she practices in all areas of family law. Since being called to the bar in Ontario over 10 years ago, Cindy has been practicing exclusively in family law and is passionate about supporting her clients in achieving goals quickly and effectively in a cost-effective manner with the objective of implementing strategies that are unique to her clients and their goals. For instance, after an out-of-court settlement failed, she vigorously advocated and won an international jurisdiction motion wherein a young child will be attending school in Canada as opposed to in a foreign country.

Brittany is also known for her minority rights advocacy. She received national attention for her role as lead counsel in a landmark transgender rights case which led to her client to receiving the first gender-neutral birth certificate in Canada. This case acted as a catalyst for country-wide policy and legislative reform aimed at promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
