For instance, after an out-of-court settlement failed, she vigorously advocated and won an international jurisdiction motion wherein a young child will be attending school in Canada as opposed to in a foreign country.

Brittany is also known for her minority rights advocacy. She received national attention for her role as lead counsel in a landmark transgender rights case which led to her client to receiving the first gender-neutral birth certificate in Canada. This case acted as a catalyst for country-wide policy and legislative reform aimed at promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
