Fareen Jamal
Principal at Jamal Family Law

Fareen practices family and estate litigation at Jamal Family Law Professional Corporation in Oakville, Ontario. Fareen serves as a Deputy Judge in Milton, Brampton and Burlington and is also an accredited mediator. She is a panel member on the Office of the Children’s Lawyer personal rights panel. Fareen has served as the Chair on the Ontario Bar Association’s Family Law Section; and was a board member of the Ismaili Conciliation and Arbitration Board. Fareen completed her Masters in Law, specializing in Family Law, in 2012, and was the 2014 recipient for the OBA Young Lawyers Award. Fareen is a member of the Family Law Rules Committee, and a member of the Superior Court of Justice Family Working Group, appointed by the Family Judge for Ontario, Suzanne Stevenson. Fareen is a co-chair of the Six-Minute Family Law Lawyer. 

Fadwa Yehia
Associate at Jamal Family Law

Fadwa Yehia is an Associate at Jamal Family Law where she practices in all areas of family law, with a special focus on child-related matters including cases involving parent-child contact problems, jurisdictional and mobility disputes as well as international abduction. She has represented clients at all levels of court including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Fadwa is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates Society, Halton Law Association and the Arab Canadian Lawyers Association. She served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors to the United Nations Association in Canada, Toronto Region Branch for several years. She was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Ontario Chapter. 

Lindsey Love-Forester
Partner at Lerners LLP

Lindsey Love-Forester is a family lawyer and partner at Lerners LLP. She was called to the bar in 2009 after earning her Juris Doctor and certificate in International Business Law at Queen’s University. With over 10 years of family law experience, Lindsey has been involved in several noteworthy cases and has served as co-chair of multiple family law programs with the Ontario bar association 

Bryan R.G. Smith
Partner at Lerners LLP

Bryan R.G. Smith is a partner at Lerners LLP. His practice is restricted to family law and has also completed the Ministry of the Attorney General training to conduct mediations and arbitrations. During his 30+ years of experience, Bryan has received several recognitions such as leading practitioner by Chambers High Net Worth Guide in the area of family/matrimonial law, Distinguished lawyer rating from Martindale Hubbell Canada, and as a leading family lawyer with Lexpert.
