It is with a sense of gratitude that I reach out to you today to express my heartfelt appreciation for the support and encouragement that you extended to me during my campaign for the Law Society of Ontario Bencher. While the election results did not turn out in my favor, I am proud of the work we accomplished together and the values that we stood for.
Throughout the campaign, your belief in me as a candidate and your unwavering commitment to the principles of justice, equity, and accessibility were a source of inspiration and motivation. I want to thank every one of you for your trust and confidence in me and for your tireless efforts on behalf of our shared vision for the legal profession.
Our team at Russell Alexander played an integral role in my campaign, and their dedication and support were truly inspiring. Their hard work and enthusiasm motivated me, and I am incredibly grateful to have such a fantastic team behind me.
Although the outcome of the election may not have been what we had hoped for, I remain steadfast in my commitment to the values and principles we stood for during the campaign. I will continue to work tirelessly toward a legal profession that is just, equitable, and accessible to all and to advocate for the issues that we care about deeply.
I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the successful candidates and wish them all the best in their new roles as Benchers of the Law Society of Ontario. I am confident they will serve with distinction and bring significant value to the profession.
