Wednesday’s Video Clip: Is A Backside Pat A Sign of Respect Or Disrespectful To The Court?

When an athlete while in court gave his lawyer a backside pat in an apparent sign of respect near the completion of his case, the presiding Judge viewed his conduct as inappropriate and sentenced the athlete to 30 days in Jail.

What do you think, was this conduct merely an athlete showing respect to his lawyer or offensive to the court (or perhaps both)?
