In this 1-hour live virtual event, Ontario-based Collaborative Family Lawyers, Russell Alexander, Adam Borer, and Bill Rogers, offer their insights and expertise on common law couples navigating separation and family law matters.

Attendees will have the opportunity to submit their questions for the panelists to address during the Q&A portion of the presentation. As always, to respect confidentiality, audience members’ identities will remain anonymous to other attendees.

He uses his experience with a client-focused approach by creating unique solutions for each of his clients to enable them and their families to move forward with their lives in a compassionate and collaborative manner.

Adam Borer

Adam is an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Family Lawyers where he practices in all areas of family law including Collaborative Family Law, divorce, child support, spousal support, domestic contracts, and property-related issues. Adam represents clients in litigation, negotiations, and various forms of family dispute resolution. Adam was called to the bar in Ontario in 2013 after graduating from the Juris Doctor Program with Honours at Bond University in Australia. Prior to joining our firm in 2015, he practiced both family and criminal law. If he’s not working with clients, Adam can be found spending quality time with my family or playing sports.

Bill Rogers

Bill is an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. He believes expertise and compassion are both essential in helping clients get through their family law issues. Bill’s courtroom experience includes numerous motions, several full-blown trials, and he has also had the privilege of winning a major family law victory at the Ontario Court of Appeal (McConnell v. Huxtable, 2014 ONCA 86) which prevented the imposition of a proposed two-year deadline on property claims by unmarried spouses. Beyond litigation, he favours out-of-court solutions and collaborative law. Bill is also an award-winning journalist published in The Lawyers Weekly, National Post, and The Globe and Mail. When he’s not practicing law, he loves spending time playing music with his band, Soul Custody.
